So this is it...the final week before the marathon. Am I nervous? Of course. Scared? Shitless.
I think the hardest part is the anticipation leading up to the race. The weeks and weeks of practice and training are over. But now you feel like you're in the tunnel before pre-game. It's relatively quiet, you can just feel the excitement in the air and you can't wait to get out on the field and move your feet as fast as your can.
Okay, I digress from my geeky band reference. So, my goal for this week will be to rest and relax, get lots of sleep and simply enjoy a week of guilt-free eating!
